Belton Nazarene Church is involved in and supports several outreach ministries in our community.
Helping Hands Ministry of Belton seeks to share the Gospel of Christ Jesus while providing relief and resources to every family in need in the community” (From the Helping Hands website). Helping Hands grew from the vision and efforts of several area churches and has grown to help provide for about 3,400 people each week.
The Body of Christ Community Clinic is an effort to bring healthcare to our community. Since opening the clinic has had over 6,000 patient visits and has grown from three hours a week to fifteen hours a week. They have added services such as dental hygiene, women’s health, diabetic clinic, physical therapy, and counseling. The clinic is building a dental clinic to expand services to those who are underserved for dental needs. The Clinic now has a full-time Executive Director and three part-time employees along with nearly a hundred volunteers.
HOPE Pregnancy Center in Temple is a Christ-centered, life-affirming ministry, offering practical support, and empowering women, men, and youth to make informed choices regarding pregnancy, sexual integrity, and the sanctity of human life.
Other Ministries: Our church also assists with Angel Tree, which provides Christmas gifts to children of people who are incarcerated, Apple Tree, which helps outfit students for school, and Good News Club, which shares the love of Jesus in our schools.
